From my own line of work, and years of serving the neurodivergent community, there’s a humongous (!!!) overlap between a diagnosis of neurodivergence (whether formal or self-determined) and fluidity in our access to extrasensory perception and altered states of consciousness.
Many of us feel as though the psychic realm is “right there”, integrated with everyday awareness, or barely under the surface of it.
It’s a baked-in part of our perception of the world. It doesn’t feel spectacular in the slightest.
When we don’t know the difference, or while steeped in the materialist paradigm, we believe that it’s our vivid imagination — or a big one I see online: “really good pattern recognition”.
Not that we don’t have those, we really do. But that’s not all that’s going on. Precognition, telepathy, clairsentience, clairvoyance, clairaudience, mystical states, latent mediumship and so much more are all taking place without us fully realizing it.
Unless some extraordinary moment shows us that some of our non-local perceptions, while meaningful, can’t have arrived either from our imagination or from pattern recognition.
